Dr. Mzimeli Morris is an Assistant Professor of Women’s Health in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She also the new Director of Labor and Delivery at New York-Presbyterian Westchester in Bronxville. In her previous role, Dr. Morris oversaw Health Equity and Antiracism Training and was the Director of the Health Equity Task Force for the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health. Dr. Morris received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Bryn Mawr College and earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. She completed a residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Morris is passionate about education and equitable patient-centered care.
